Pieces of Flair

Oh Facebook, you are so so popular and I have absolutely no use for you. Every once in awhile though my fiance brings something to my attention that I at first dismiss then have a secret passion for. Pieces of Flair is just one such thing. What is crazy is that I never even intended on using as something on Facebook. Ok maybe I am getting ahead of myself. For the uninitiated, Flair are like pins that you would wear on a jacket or messenger bag, but on Facebook you place your collection on a Flair Board so show off "you". Well I am creative and OCD apparently because the first thing I thought was, "Hrmp, that would make an awesome wallpaper." And off I went. Taking only 3 days of time in between work, I created this:Beautiful isn't it. Anyway I just wanted to throw that up here and let anyone who was interested see what I am interested in and maybe get a free wallpaper if you want it. the res is 1280x1024.

Vanguard Trial

About a month ago I picked up the Collectors Edition of Vanguard: Sago of Heroes from Amazon.com for $15.00, and I am hooked. With the most recent Game Update 6 they introduced a new starting area called the Isle of Dawn and a 14 day trial for free to let new people come and experience the mosly bug free experience. I point out the mostly bug free because when it was released a little over a year ago it was in poor shape, having been rushed to market because of various reasons. Now, over a year later it has been nothing less than a stellar experience for me. If you are a person who loved EverQuest, but not EQ2; tired of WoW; or are just looking to feel heroic every minute you are in the the world of Telon, I would encourage you to try it out. What is there to lose?

Matt Hazard

I stumbled across this amazing marketing ploy the other day on IGN. We all love classic game character like Mario & Sonic (heck I have nostalgia for even terrible NES games), well D3 Publisher is creating a NEW game franchise that they are pretending has been around for the last 25 years. What? you say. They went to great lengths to create a beleivable backlog of games for the titular character, which can be seen on his unofficially official site. Here is a site from someone who was "there" when the previous games were created. He even has a Facebook page (who doesnt these days though). All I can say is that they have my attention, if they can create wonderfull timesinks like PuzzleQuest, and the upcoming Bangai-O Spirits, I have utter faith that this will be an excelent game full of quirky retro injokes. I certainly hope so atleast.

First Post!!!

Sorry about that, I hate when people comment with that. Anyways I just wanted to say hello and begin to kick start this whole blogging thing. I will have an update later today.
